Day 10/100 – Love Note
To be honest, I had no idea what I was going to paint today. I had a lot of administrative type things to do this morning so my mind wasn’t really in a whimsical space. Then, my girlfriend sent me a photo of some origami lamps that she saw while she was out shopping.
My mind went down a rabbit hole at that point, thinking about notes that we passed in high school with our besties. BFF’s. BFA’s. YFA’s. F4E’s. That quick little exchange in the hallway as we passed by each other on the way to our next classes. Some of them folded plain (mine) and some in origami puzzles and shapes. They were so cool!
I miss those days.
You know, I never could fold paper.
But I can paint.
